One of Exeter's leading specialist SEN schools are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher to teach secondary pupils who are learning at primary level. The pupils at this school all have moderate and severe learning difficulties and/or disabilities, SEMH, ASD and speech, language and communication difficulties, sensory needs and / or physical difficulties
Working in a purpose built environment with the support of specialist teaching support staff, you will teach GCSEs, Entry Levels, Functional Skills, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, AQA Unit Awards and vocational qualifications. to a group of max 10 pupils. It is essential that you are a nurturing, engaging Teacher with QTS and a background working with SEND pupils.
Based in leafy grounds on the edge of Exeter, this is a full time, temporary role that will start in September 2022 in an ongoing capacity with the possibility of a permanent role.
The daily rate of pay is between £145 and £210 per day depending on experience
This is a great opportunity to support the national curriculum whilst improving the education for SEN pupils.
