Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are QTS for the UK and ideally having experience teaching Music to KS4.

The role

Smart Teachers is seeking an enthusiastic Music Teacher to join a co-educational secondary school in Redbridge. Music is a popular subject at the school and is taught up to A level. The school has a collaborative staff team, sharing good practice and resourcing to provide the best learning experience for students. A strong culture of support is evident throughout the school, and they are looking forward to welcoming a new colleague into the team. This vacancy is suitable for an NQT or someone looking to broaden their teaching experience.

The role is full time, from September 2022 - July 2023 in the first instance.


To be considered for the Music Teacher position, you will:

• Hold a PGCE, BEd or equivalent teaching qualification

• Hold QTS for the UK
