The ROLE: Reporting to the Head of Marketing, a versatile and creative Website Coordinator is required to manage and develop the company's small group of websites (corporate site, product/brand niche microsites and a transactional (e-commerce) site for spares and accessories. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketer who also has web development skills and is capable of making changes/enhancements/tweaks to the 'look and feel' of the site, in addition to overseeing and collating content. The successful candidate will 'own' this important marketing function of the business and be given the creative freedom to bring their personality and flair to the role - whether it be relating to content, photography, design, videos, blogs, plug-ins and/or social media engagement.
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will probably be a graduate in marketing, digital media or perhaps computing who has at least two years' strong prior commercial web marketing experience - i.e. combining strategy, design, outreach, analytics and basic coding. Knowledge of Magento, WordPress and PHP are crucial - Adobe suite and Photoshop desirable. Very important are a keen eye of creative detail, the ability to compose brief, succinct content and the versatility to switch project quickly and thereby multitask effectively. Previous experience in managing an e-commerce platform with payment/gateway functionality would be an advantage. To be considered you should also be competent in standard SEO techniques and Google Analytics.
The role is full-time and based in spacious and comfortable premises adjacent to the M60 and thus easily accessible by car from all parts of Greater Manchester and W.Yorks. There is a direct bus from Piccadilly (c. 30 mins).
