The Peak District was the first designated National Park in the United Kingdom and is one of the most visited in the world, welcoming about 13 million people a year. In addition to being an area of outstanding natural beauty and home to a huge range of diverse wildlife; the blanket peat bogs act as a natural carbon reservoir, so vital in fighting climate change.

Working inclusively across our staff and volunteer team, partnerships, local communities and a vibrant visitor profile, you'll help ensure we put both people and nature at the heart of everything we do. With an ever-diversifying visitor profile and access improvements underway, this is an exciting time to be joining the team, with huge opportunities to grow engagement, support and participation at this special place.
