Clinical Site Co-ordinator
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 (depending on experience) plus enhancements
Hours: 37.5hrs following a shift pattern but with the ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the role.
A bit more about the role
You will provide high quality, visible, professional, operational and clinical leadership to nurses during the day to ensure the care and safety of our patients.
The Clinical Site Co-ordinator is accountable for ensuring that nursing staff within the division optimise the patient experience by providing clinical and operational support to nursing staff.
This will involve ensuring our nursing staff can optimise the patient experience by providing the support they need. You will provide guidance, facilitate practice and support staff as deemed necessary. The goal is to enhance engagement and minimise risk, so you will be making a key contribution to patient safety and welfare, assisting staff in dealing with any incidents promptly and professionally.
This is an influential role as you will be liaising closely with Nurse Managers, Operational and Nursing Heads and other multidisciplinary leaders on clinical, management and resource issues relating to the divisions. This will also include providing guidance and monitoring the need to request assistance from the Duty Doctor.
As a member of the Clinical Site Co-ordinator team you will periodically rotate within the team to manage different areas of the Northampton site and be able to rotate onto Nights on a regular basis.
A bit more about you
You need to demonstrate substantial experience of managing a large team at Clinical Nurse Leader, Deputy Ward Manager or Nurse Management level. You will be able to make sound clinical and operational decisions autonomously reporting back to Heads of Operations and Heads of Nursing. You will have proven your ability to manage incidents calmly, effectively and with the appropriate levels of escalation. Current NMC registration is essential.
