RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a university in Cirencester, Gloucestershire who are seeking to recruit a full time Junior Systems TechnicianGrade 3: £18,529 - £20,600 per annum DOE35 hrs/weekThe IT Team at the University looks after all the IT services for the organisation. This includes: two data centres, a substantial data network across our different locations, a varied applications portfolio that is provided on premises and in the cloud, personal computers for student and staff use, as well as extensive audio-visual facilities. They are looking to recruit two Junior Systems Technicians who will be an important part of the friendly and talented IT team. This is a varied job: you will be involved across all aspects of delivering both business-as-usual activities and a diverse and interesting portfolio of applications, infrastructure and security projects. There will be opportunities for you to choose a pathway to specialise in specific areas and competencies. They are looking for talented self-motivated individuals with good IT skills and experience who want to develop as IT professionals and will enjoy the varied and challenging environment that the University offers.
