Are you a graduate or just about to graduate from your degree? Did you study modules relating to education and considering a career in Education? If so read on.

We are working in partnership with a school in Wimbledon that caters for pupils with Autism and additional needs. Some pupils have difficulty with speech language and communication so require support from an on-site Speech and Language therapist. Pupils may also struggle to manage their emotions and require behaviour management support.

The school are looking for those who perhaps haven't experienced working in Special Educational Needs School before but keen to apply knowledge from a degree in Psychology or degree where modules have been educational related.

The school has a fantastic training programme for new staff. You will learn about the intervention programmes in place for each pupil and how to deliver them successfully. The staff are extremely supportive and eager to help others learn and develop. You will work under an experienced supervisor who will guide your learning and help you achieve your potential as a Teaching Assistant. The school are looking for graduates who are keen to learn, passionate about working with others, proactive and have a genuine interest in a potential career in education.

If you are unsure about a career in education this would be a good opportunity. Work with Teaching Personnel can be flexible. You can spend a day or even a week within the school first before committing to anything longer term or permanent.
