We are recruiting for a global investment management organisation who have introduced a flexible working programme, where you are only required to work in the office circa 1 to 2 days week and the rest working from home.

They are now seeking an Assistant Quality Manager within their Financial Crime Hub/Quality division. This area of the business is responsible for the verification of new and existing UK clients for Anti Money Laundering (AML) purposes, in addition to the performance of periodic reviews and investigation of PEP, sanction and adverse media screening alerts.

This specific role will see you being involved in the roll-out, ongoing governance, and day to day facilitation of a Quality Framework within their first-line Financial Crime Hub This framework will cover quality control and assurance of all anti-financial crime related activity and will involve working with the Independent Quality Control Team. The role covers a wide range of responsibilities including:
  • The ongoing development and roll-out of the Quality Framework
  • Performing quality control and quality assurance checks of processes
  • Supporting process/change management improvements
  • Expanding the framework and make relevant for all processes within the area
  • Providing feedback to individuals and team leaders on quality results, including the identification of training requirements
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities, and work with delivery teams to implement changes
  • Form part of the function's extended leadership team, and contribute to ongoing strengthening activity

You will already possess previous experience of operating quality control / assurance checks, ideally within an AML environment, coupled with an understanding of how to structure a quality framework, including alignment to company and industry standards of best-practice

As someone with excellent communication and influencing skills, that ideally includes providing feedback, you will be someone with a desire to learn, and upskill on the processes that you'll be required to monitor, together with having a willingness to take ownership and be decisive, but open to feedback and input from stakeholders
