Head of SEO

My marketing leading ecommerce client are looking for a Head of SEO to join their growing team based in London. This role would suit someone with 3+ years' experience of working in an SEO role. You will be heading up the SEO department to ensure that all of the contect reach as many people as possible.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will lead and manage our SEO team and will own the SEO strategy
  • You will deliver a technical workstream into the engineering teams to maintain and establish best SEO practices within the technical architecture
  • You will have design and execute on a content strategy that maximises visitation, subscriptions and revenue generated by SEO

Skills and Attributes Required
  • A background in delivering success in both technical and content-driven SEO
  • Efficient time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Background & Experience
  • Good understanding of how Google and other search engines rank pages
  • Proven knowledge and experience of SEO tools and methodologies
  • Experience with web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics preferred)
  • Understanding and/or experience of using Tag Management system or customised tracking systems
  • Extensive experience of technical SEO
  • Good understanding of new data technologies and a passion to keep abreast of change
