Are you an experienced writer and editor on a magazine or newspaper?

Our global client is looking for Features Writer/Editor to join a team of talented and engaging professionals for a 6-month Maternity leave cover.

Position: Features Writer/Editor

Salary: DOE

Duration: 6 months

Hours: Full time or part time

The job will involve...
  • Supporting the editor in sourcing exclusives, managing the features calendar, and helping to set the agenda for our coverage.
  • Writing high level and relevant news content for print and online.
  • Researching and writing features and analysis.
  • Contacting key figures within the industry, including, suppliers, manufacturers, insurers, and PR agencies.
  • Attending and reporting on industry conferences.

The Person will...
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years working at a senior editorial level on a B2B or consumer publication.
  • Proven track record of researching and writing engaging features content for both print and online.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
  • Commercially aware with excellent communication and good networking capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent writing and editing skills.
