Our client base is worldwide and from all sectors, from large multinationals to exciting, independent, and innovative enterprises.Due to ongoing growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for the right person as an SEO Executive and Lead Copywriter. It will be fast paced but never a dull moment. You will be at the forefront of the team's lead copywriting duties as well as being an experienced SEO account manager This is a new position with career development options to progress further in this role.The primary role is to lead all of our client's content strategy as well as team lead two other copywriters, making sure content is consistent with each respective brand and for the quality to be nothing more than outstanding.The secondary aspect of this role is to provide a world class SEO service and manage some of our key client projects to deliver high performance. Having SEO account management experience in an agency setting is essential for this role.What are we looking for?You will be a forward thinker with a passion for all things digital, you will have a wealth of experience in both SEO and Copywriting with previous experience in a team leader / supervisory role. You will be able to help drive growth in Organic SEO search channels and be used to delivering results against strict deadlines with very little supervision.You will have the ability to drive engagement and grow audiences with the key focus to drive sales with exceptional copywriting ability.Key duties and responsibilities:
  • You will be providing world-class service to our customers and expected to help grow our SEO portfolio.
  • Ensuring that all activities have positive results with a high SERP status (Ranking for high volume keywords) per account.
  • Display brilliant copywriting skills for both Website and E-commerce channels
  • Proofread various pieces of content accurately and improve the overall SEO
  • Creating content plans and strategy for client accounts
  • Manage a list of SEO Clients against team KPI's
  • Ensure that work is completed within time and budget
  • Ensure content is fresh, innovative, and technically accurate
  • Writing clear, usable content that is appropriate for the audience and purpose.
  • Supervising and guiding two copywriters to ensure that the output of work is always at high standard
  • Generate reports and audits for existing and potential customers.
  • Work on Local SEO accounts (i.e., Citations, Google My Business, Bing Listings)
  • Help optimise our existing website
  • Work behind CMS platforms (i.e., Shopify, WordPress)
  • Working/liaising with other members of the digital SEO team to meet monthly targets.
Skills / Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Must have experience in working within an agency setting
  • You will have a marketing degree or equivalent
  • Can demonstrate abilities with very little supervision
  • Very Strong English skills both verbally and written
  • Amazing Content writing abilities
  • SURF SEO or equivalent (Content Specific)
  • A team player attitude
  • Worked with either Shopify, Magento, WordPress
  • Experience in optimizing Google search and getting a high page one status
  • Keyword research and deployment
  • Able to identify upselling / cross-selling opportunities
  • Experience in managing customer SEO accounts
  • Project Management mindset (We use Kanban / Gantt Methodology)
  • Hootsuite or similar
  • SEO Software (SURFSEO, SEMrush, Screaming Frog for an example)
  • You will be an advanced practitioner in Organic SEO
  • Local SEO experience (Citations, Google My Business, Bing Listings) desired but not essential
