My client ins a Willenhall based organisation who due to exciting growth are now looking for a new member of their Credit Control team within their Willenhall Head Office. You will be assisting the Group Credit Control Manager to ensure the smooth running of the credit control function around the group and to advise and support the on-site credit controllers as required. Daily duties include: - Undertake all aspects of the sales ledger and credit control duties - Undertake account reconciliation when required - Assisting with the Credit Control function around the Group - Decide a potential customers credit worthiness by credit checks. Apply suitable credit limits and terms - Send out monthly debt chasing letter and statements - Daily banking of cheques and cash posting to the accounts system - Effectively deal with customer account queries and complaints, liaising with other departments to ensure they are brought to a satisfactory conclusion To be successful in this role you will have: - A sound understanding of Credit Control and related processes, computerised ledger systems and double entry bookkeeping principles - Experienced in spreadsheets, sales ledger accounts reports - An appreciation of the impact of debtors and the working capital cycle and cash flow - Able to communicated effectively in writing and verbally at all levels both with internal and external stakeholders - A high level of accuracy
