Our client specialise in digitalizing buildings, designing, and installing the latest technologies to deliver real time monitoring and control of their client's plant and infrastructure. Working on a host of major, national contracts within the commercial and light industrial sector.
Due to their continued success, they now require additional Commercial Electricians to join their growing team. Operating nationally the company have bases in the Southwest, Southeast and Midlands. Engineers typically operate in a 3-hour radius of their home address, out of town flexibility required weekdays - overtime and out of town bonus provided. The role will focus on the deployment of monitoring and control technologies and include pre-installation surveying, electrical installation, and testing/commissioning of completed works.

The role:
Working on a range of commercial installation projects (Team based)
Installation of monitoring and control equipment (Electrical bias - Product training provided)
Installation of LED lighting schemes
Supporting design team - completing onsite surveys
Maintaining deployed installations - fault finding/reactive works as required
Completion of NICEIC certification & commissioning documentation
OOH Call out rota - home based, remote support
The Candidate:
Full UK driving licence
Commercial electrical experience (3 Years Minimum)
ECS Gold Card (Electrician or Approved Electrician)
BS7671 wiring regulations - (ideally 18th Edition)
Competent inspecting and testing completed works
IT Literate
Work within installation team - customer facing
Commissioning installed equipment (full training provided)
Desirable:
Time served apprenticeship within the commercial/industrial sector
City & Guilds Inspection and Testing Certificate
Experience installing electrical sub metering, sensors and building controls
SSSTS
IPAF Licence (3a/3b)
PASMA
Asbestos awareness / Manual Handling
Emergency First Aid at Work

Commercial Electrician - Southwest based, covering UK, typically 2-to-3-hour radius from home address, working away during weekdays as required.
£35,000 + OTE £45k-£55k (Over Time, Out of Town & Loyalty Bonuses, Travel time, Accommodation, Meal Allowance Paid) + Van inc. Fuel Card + Holiday + Phone + Laptop + Health Care + Pension + Training + Career Progression
