Lead Electronics Engineer Overview

This is a great opportunity for a lead electronics engineer to join a growing medical technology company based in Buckinghamshire. This will give the safety of a larger group, but with the day to day feel of a smaller, progressive, and technically challenging business.

The lead electronics engineer will be focusing on the development of hardware and its associated embedded code for a new novel robotics projects. You will need to have a strong track record of success within this area, combined with a strong degree from a red-brick university. The lead electronics engineer will be responsible for leading a small team, growing and mentoring junior colleagues, and collaborating with the wider engineering team (mechanical engineers and computer scientists).

The lead electronics engineer will need to have around 5 (or more) years of commercial experience, using C and/or Python. You will be dealing with both analogue and digital design, from the prototype stage all the way through to production.

For this lead electronics engineering role, it would help if you are familiar with all (or most) the following tools; Codecomposer for embedded c development, Mentor Graphics for schematic capture and PCB design, Crank for GUI design, Spice for electronic simulation and Parasoft for static code analysis.
