Job Title: Engineering Project Manager

Reporting to: Projects Director

Location: Office based - Warwick

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Type: Permanent

We are an expanding, successful and progressive hi-tech engineering company looking for a bright and talented engineering project manager who will be tasked with delivering custom automation projects to a wide customer base within predominantly the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. The successful candidate would be a key member of a project team in which their key responsibilities would be delivering projects from inception through to qualification at the customer's facilities.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

Defining, agreeing and controlling project scope with the customer. Identification of project changes and responsible for ensuring formal change control processes and procedures are followed

Generating project schedule and tracking and reporting of progress to internal stakeholders and customer

Managing of project resources throughout the project lifecycle, planning and requesting of resources, allocation and co-ordination of assigned project resources

Generation of project budgets during the initial proposal stages. Tracking of costs against budgets and providing regular financial status reporting to management

Management of project risks,

identify project risks and associated mitigations in order to minimise these risks

To be successful, you will need:

4+ years of project management or relevant experience in a technical environment

Conscientious, with the ability to understand and care about the client's requirements and drive a project forward

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related technical field, or 5+ years' experience in a relevant engineering environment

Preferred (but not essential): experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or engineering automation sectors.

Ability to assimilate and understand technical information from experienced engineers.

Willing to undertake a level of global travel to support the project delivery based on project requirements

Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus

Full UK driving Licence.
