Our client is a fast growing tech company based in London who are looking for a temporary Payroller for the next 3-4 months on a interim basis with the potential on it moving onto a permanent basis as the business is going through the next round of growth and a systems implementation process.

You will be reporting to the Payroll Manager, preparing the monthly payrolls, maintaining the payroll system and ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations. This involves management of the payroll systems and processes, monthly journals, reconciliations and controls, and relationship management with centres and Finance.


As a Payroll Assistant, your role responsibilities will include:

* Overseeing the UK payroll and assisting payrolls across Europe and working with payroll providers to ensure all payrolls are efficiently processed.

* Ensuring high levels of quality by thoroughly reviewing input data.

* Processing monthly pay-claims, time-sheets and additional ad-hoc payments.

* Manual tax, ssp, smp calculations for UK payroll

* Reviewing all payroll inputs and checking payslips and payroll reports.

* Preparing payroll journals

* Liaising with Human Resources, Finance and Centres to ensure that all data, updates and claims are received in a complete and timely manner.

Reconciliations and Controls

* Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.

* Ensure static data is regularly reviewed.

* Prepare and review audit control reports for changes to employee and bank data.

* Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory compliance.

* Support HMRC enquiries and investigations as required.

Relationship Management

* Develop and maintain internal relationships throughout the centres and functional department.

* Maintain relationships with Human Resources in UK and abroad.

* Liaison with auditors at interim audit and final audit.
