Pyramid8 is working with a leading property organisation is Leeds to work with a number of their clients assisting in the administration, supporting the insurance department. They are a well-established business and it's a great opportunity to learn and develop career in property.

We are seeking to appoint an Insurance Administration Assistant to assist their Insurance Co-ordinator in placing insurance for a wide range of clients. Initially, the role will be administration focussed and they do not expect any insurance knowledge or experience at the outset. The role will be full-time and based at their Head Office in Leeds. The overall qualities they are looking for are:

• A good standard of written English

• Confident with Excel, Word and Outlook

• Ability to pick-up and use our in-house accounting programme

• Able to work with data and accurately complete letter templates

• Helpful & personable

• Able to deal professionally with claims enquiries by phone and email

• Well organised and able to take responsibility for tracking claims etc

The detailed job description is as follows:

• Primarily responsible for the preparation and despatch of Renewal quotations, Demands and Needs Statements, Insurance Product Information Documents, Fee consent letters

• This will often be using template letters and forms, but which will need completing accurately and correctly. Responses from clients will need to be accurately tracked and filed

• Deliver good customer service by responding swiftly to queries and concerns from Clients, Tenants, Loss Adjustors or Brokers

• Act as a liaison between the insurance providers and the Clients or Claimants. Assist with processing and sending claims to insurance companies for payment in compliance with the insurer's correct claim procedures;

• To maintain full records of all claims processed, settled and ongoing. Update Clients or Claimants as required

• Assist in ensuring that all insurance policies are renewed on time

• Assist with checking the billing accuracy of the insurance companies, make payments and ensure that the correct commission is calculated and paid. Assist with the maintenance of accurate records of all commissions

• Assist in ensuring that quotes are obtained to ensure good value for the benefit of Clients
