At SALT.agency, we pride ourselves on working closely with the best in our industry. We will give you the tools to become an expert in your own right. You will be working with global brands and coached by industry experts.

You will receive regular training on the latest developments across our industry and attend an extensive training program to improve your skills.

Day to day activities:

At SALT.agency, SEO is not a tick box activity. Each month you will be completing a broad range of activities for clients, which are bespoke to each campaign. Each day varies, but you'll be working on:
  • Keyword research
  • Content creation, I.e. content briefs and creating blog posts for the SALT.agency blog
  • Auditing websites
  • Competitor, market, and gap analysis
  • Reporting on data from Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Regular meetings with your team and line manager
  • Building client relationships, I.e., creating agendas, presenting work and being a key contact.
  • Technical writing
  • Assisting with strategy creation
  • Attending regular training
  • Supporting junior members of the team

Responsibilities:

At SALT.agency, you will be responsible for your own time and task management. You will be given your client hours and tasks you are expected to complete each month; the rest is on you. You will be responsible for:
  • Log time efficiently
  • Communicating effectively with your line manager
  • Ensuring your work is completed to a high standard
  • Showing an eagerness to learn

Minimum Experience needed: 1 year

FAQS

I'm not sure technical SEO is my thing; can I still apply?

Whilst we encourage our team members to have a technical understanding, you know you need to be a technical expert in applying. You do not need to have a specialism from the onset, and we understand that everyone has different skills and passions. You would be able to dip your toes into our project management, strategic and technical teams. Or you could be a mix of it all and work across the teams!

How will you develop my knowledge?

We have a dedicated learning and development team who will work closely with you and your line manager to identify skill and knowledge gaps. You will be invited to a regular training session and receive feedback on what you need to learn to progress in your role.

Is this role hybrid?

This role can be a hybrid! If you are a successful candidate, you will be able to work with the hiring manager to work out your home/office split.

Is the role fully remote?

This role can be fully remote. This will need to be arranged at the hiring manager's discretion and subject to trial.

What sort of tools do you use?

We very much use the typical SEO toolkit, such are Little Warden, Majestic, Ahrefs, Sitebulb and Screaming Frog. We have the very cool feature of having our own custom-built tools, which you'll be shown once you join.
