Here's what you'll be doing:

An Account Manager at Magnite plays a key role in ensuring the overall success of a defined book of business of publisher accounts. The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring Magnite exceeds our publisher's expectations in delivering on value propositions: growth, transparency, efficiency. This role will be based in London.

  • Responsibility for day-day client servicing and trouble-shooting of a portfolio of Magnite's supply partners
  • Drive key initiatives across a defined book of business to ensure accounts are optimised and transacting to their full potential: best practice adoption for onboarding/Seller set up, integrations and inventory management
  • Proactive communication with Seller clients to deliver updates, including performance insights, optimisation feedback and suggestions for driving revenue
  • Oversight of delivery, measurement, reporting, integrations, client communication and contribution to strategy. Drive weekly, monthly & ad hoc agency/client reports
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders e.g. Seller team Account Directors, Revenue Solutions, Platform Solutions and Product Management (in the UK and globally) to help define and drive enhancements to the Magnite platform
  • Contribute to and help lead team-wide growth initiatives
  • Partnering with the Account Director team by supporting tactical needs to achieve and surpass revenue targets and KPI's, expanding client business by identifying issues and opportunities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the programmatic eco-system, keeping up to date with new ad tech functionality and understanding the potential opportunities presented by specific tech developments
  • Present at client meetings e.g. hot desking sessions, QBRs, product overview sessions etc.
  • Management of a portfolio of Tier 2 Accounts


Here's what we are looking for:

  • Experience managing online advertising accounts (ideally, working for an SSP, Ad Server, DSP or large web publisher)
  • Strong account management/client-facing experience
  • Strong understanding of online advertising industry and publisher business models (GDPR, ad serving, ad exchanges, header bidding and online ad technologies focused on driving publisher value)
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding client expectations
  • Outstanding computer skills including solid knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel), word processing (MS Word), Power Point (MS PP) and CRM systems (Saleforce.com)
  • Detail focused and meticulous by nature, excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to function both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment quickly and easily
  • Intuitive/creative thinker: Problem identifier and solver, able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Willingness to share knowledge, facilitate team rapport, and maintain excellent cross-functional partnerships
  • Confidence in presenting and in written and verbal communications
