An excellent opportunity as a Marketing & Business Development Adviser has become available at a leading global law firm. You will be working with a well-established Marketing & BD team, which supports the firm on a wide range of business development, client relationship management and reputational activities.

The firm requires a capable and enthusiastic adviser to support the Marketing & Business Development Managers and BD and marketing activities across the Corporate transactional practice. This will include working with the M&A, Commercial and Private Equity teams in a role with a broad remit across some fast-paced and exciting areas of law. The Marketing & Business Development Adviser's role will encompass the full range of business development and marketing activities including client targeting and cross-selling; pitching, credentials and other marketing collateral; client, sector and competitor analysis; profile raising and marketing campaigns including communications such as directory submissions, deal reporting, online content, and BD evaluation and reporting.

You must have a good degree from a reputable institution or equivalent allied to strong previous experience of working in a marketing and business development focused role in a professional services environment, preferably a law firm. Excellent interpersonal, influencing and persuasion skills are essential, as is the ability to think broadly and employ a high level of initiative, whilst demonstrating a commercial and strategic outlook. The Marketing & Business Development Adviser should be pragmatic, robust, diplomatic and resourceful, with the ability to adapt quickly to different situations and personalities and have strong project management skills and outstanding attention to detail.
