Our client based in London is looking for an Application Implementation Manager for a 6-month contract. This is a remote role but involves some travel into London for meetings.
The rate is £450-£500/day and inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing concurrent deliverables and responsibilities in multiple systems
- Provide project managers and customers with subject matter expertise on system integrations
- Understand customer requirements and specification documents / technical documentation
- Utilize escalation procedures and collaborative resources where necessary to meet project milestones and deadlines
- Assist with customer training and setup of the and other Cloud Services
- Respond to customer emails in a timely fashion / set expectation
- Lead project call if the PM is not available (call agenda to be provided by the PM)
- Assist with customer training
- Provide comprehensive project management for key business Technology projects across all areas of the business.
- Develop and maintain project plans working with key stakeholders to ensure they reflect business requirements.
- Work with business analyst resources (or provide analysis otherwise where required) to inform project requirements.
- Manage project budgets.
- Lead any RFI/RFP processes including identifying and liaising with current and potential suppliers.
- Manage all internal and external stakeholders, providing relevant and timely information.
- Organise regular project meetings, including prior distribution of agendas and recording of minutes.
- Manage all risks and issues for key projects with appropriate mitigations, escalating where tolerances are likely to be exceeded to project boards / management.
- Assist with the change process from project phase into BAU, including ensuring appropriate support arrangements are in place.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with key suppliers ensuring any concerns are addressed.
- Develop processes, policies, and procedures to standardise project management across the organisation.
Skills and Experience
- Proficient User of Microsoft Office Suite and support systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under pressure and with time constraints in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Effective verbal, written, and visual presentation skills
- Confident and professional conversation/facilitation skills over phone and video
- Strong judgment, issues management, and problem analysis techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Firm understanding of the use of technology and data to support product decision making.
- Previous Experience as an Implementation Specialist on projects a plus
- A proven track record of success in the implementation space
- Must be willing to present ideas / solutions to team and present publicly at annual conference
- Strong judgment, issues management, and problem analysis techniques
- Experience working in Database Driven Applications
- Familiarity with Cloud Services and Cloud Platform offerings.
- Experience / Exposure to modern web technologies
- Customer Service - able to actively listen and focus on resolving the needs of internal and external customers, management and vendors
- BS / BA in IT related discipline / business related field preferred but not required
- Process-minded - seeks out ways to improve process and procedures internally and externally
- Team player who is approachable, friendly and helpful
- Displays commitment and dedication within all aspects of work
- Prioritization - managing multiple projects and scheduling tasks efficiently
- Experienced change manager, adept at removing roadblocks and gaining buy-in.
- Sound judgement with the ability to interpret, analyse and disseminate complex, sensitive information.
- A strong understanding of business and organisational risk and the ability to analyse situations and apply judgement on decisions.
- Good commercial awareness, with a willingness to find lower cost solutions to save money wherever appropriate.
- Experience managing projects in a complex environment.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering enterprise projects on time, to budget and to scope.
- Good knowledge and experience of running both agile and waterfall projects (ideally backed up with a qualification such as Scrum Master or Prince2).
