You will be working for a leading facility and building maintenance service provider in the City of London. They are an established company with an impressive portfolio of corporate clients across several sectors. Having recently won some new contracts across London, they are now in the process of growing their team to account for their success.

Job

A Technical Services Manager is required to oversee the engineering maintenance to a corporate building in the West End of London. Working closely with the Account Director, you will oversee and manage a team of shift engineers, whilst also acting as first point of contact for the client for any requests or issues. The building is owned by the client and as a result the TSM will be responsible for all building services, landlord and tenant.

Accountabilities:

You will provide line management and technical support to a team of shift engineers, driving delivery and service.
You will act as first point of contact for the client regarding any requests, complaints, or escalations.
You may be required to provide your team with technical advice and guidance, as well as providing training when appropriate.
Ensure SLA's and KPI's are met and exceeded where possible.
Responsibility for statutory compliance and health & safety procedures.

Experience and Requirements

Electrical technical qualifications; Level 2 City and Guilds Electrical Installations or equivalent.
Relevant experience in a senior supervisory/management position and a minimum of 5 years' experience within facilities and building services.
A customer facing attitude and ability to talk to stakeholders at all levels.
Great man management skills; demonstrable experience in managing teams of engineers.
Experience within commercial/corporate environments is preferred.
