Company Overview:

We are a leading Developer and Contractor delivering new build residential schemes for affordable housing under JCT D&B contracts and are rapidly expanding across the UK.

We are looking for an Accounts Manager to join our team here at Alderley Group and Complete Construction.

Account Manager Overview:

The Account Manager role will be based in London and is a brand-new role that is being introduced as we continue to grow our portfolio of accounts and add to our team of existing managers. You will be responsible for our accounts system XERO, all company accounts activities and the setting up of new accounts and the day-day operations of these accounts. You will assume responsibility for the success of these accounts, communicating with the regional team to ensure a smooth operation.

The goal is to ensure these accounts will meet and exceed expectations, create an efficient collaborative and cooperative working environment, and maximize productivity. You will develop your existing skills and gain new ones, receive training where needed.

Key responsibilities include:

▪ Inputting XERO for companies and projects - - Invoices & Bank reconciliation

▪ Producing Management Accounts/ P&L / BS

▪ (assisted by our accountant)

▪ Provide Mid-Month Report

▪ Provide End of Month Report

▪ Submit VAT Returns

▪ Submit CIS Returns

▪ Process and submit PAYE & NI - Fortnightly & Monthly

▪ Process Payroll & Pension contributions - (assisted by our accountant)

▪ Process Staff Expenses

▪ Produce Reports for areas of finance

▪ Set up payment runs - Set up Subcontract Payments, Supplier Payments

▪ Link Cost Code & nominal Codes with Commercial Manager to Project Cost Plans (CVR)

▪ Provide Cost Reports for each project

▪ Produce live Cash Flow

▪ Produce Forecasted Monthly Cash Flow

▪ Asset Register - Office & Projects

▪ Monitor Credit Limits & Rates Schedule
  • Optimize and oversee all accounts operations in line with guidelines to ensure efficiency to operate within company budgets
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement, constructively challenging any objections with a view to closing sales

▪ You will be the key point of contact for supplier accounts ad report to the CEO of the business

▪ Communicates clearly and concisely, encouraging discussion, and keeping an open mind to finding new and better operational alternatives.

Requirements

▪ At least 3 years of experience

▪ Fully trained on XERO

▪ Knowledge of Word, Excel

▪ Good interpersonal skills

▪ Accurate typing and/or data entry skills

▪ Numerate

▪ Professional

▪ Hard working

▪ Good attention to Detail

▪ Able to build rapport

London, Chelsea

Part Time, permanent office based.

Salary £40,000 pro rata
