The individual should possess:
Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as an ability to manage content development of others
Ability to work in an agile and rapidly changing environment, while maintaining strong focus on execution and results
A self-motivated collaborator and influencer - someone who is comfortable working independently and knows when to reach out for support and guidance
Ability to simplify, and get to the heart of what people need to know and actions they need to take
Experience producing communications across a variety of channels - including newsletters, videos, events (internal and external conferences, seminars, customer meetings and all-hands)
Ability to pay close attention to detail while always remembering the bigger picture
Curious, innovative, extremely creative, and constantly looking for ways to finesse and optimise the way we work for maximum impact and outcomes
Experience developing and executing on comms plans/strategy and building stakeholder alignment to those plans
Experience of communications and engagement management in integration and transformation environments
Responsibilities:
Communications Planning:
Develops and maintains a master communications plan, ensuring alignment with corporate communications.
Constantly seeks to evolve and refine communication programs
Content Creation/ Management:
Develops an editorial calendar that aligns to the company's milestones
Creates and manages a communications governance to ensure timely and relevant information is shared to the correct stakeholders
Works closely with the partnering company to create and deliver key messaging to stakeholders and target audiences
Creates content for key stakeholders, as needed
Determines global/local relevance, coordinating with regional and local peers and tweaking content and/or translating, as needed
Stakeholder Management and Communication:
Identifies and provides input to key stakeholders in partnering companies.
Ensures alignment in cross-functional priorities
Project Management:
Leads cross-functional teams in implementation of large projects
Communicates major project/program scope, schedule, resource, risks/issues and budget changes
Reporting and Metrics:
Identifies metrics to measure for his or her area of responsibility, and how and when to report on them
Oversees content measurement and KPIs, including the design and operation of relevant, synthesised dashboards, reports and analyses
Qualifications:
5+ years' experience preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
