My client is seeking a bright confident candidate to join their team on a temp to permanent basis.

With a wealth of knowledge and experience in the recycling industry, continued investment in training and state of the art treatment sites in Sussex, Kent and in the Midlands theyaim to meet - or exceed - all legislative requirements.


Working as part of a small team, and reporting to the Finance Manager, responsibilities include:

· Sales Ledger

· Invoicing in daily, weekly , twice monthly & monthly cycles

· Logging cash and credit card receipts

· Allocation of receipts to invoices and credit notes

· Ensure customer accounts are reconciled and up to date

· Regular issue of statements to customers

· Deal with queries raised

· Chase customers to ensure invoices are paid on time

· Highlight overdue invoices to Finance Manager

· with queries

· Ad hoc administrative tasks

· Scanning documents

· Answering the phone

· Monitoring generic email

· Ordering office supplies

Skills & Experience

· Experience in a similar role

· Credit control experience a plus

· Highly PC literate & skilled with all Microsoft Office Based applications including Word and Excel

· Strong inter-personal skills

· A car driver is essential due to the remote location of our offices.

· Hours of work 08.30 to 16.45 (with a ½ hour unpaid break) Monday to Friday
