Electrical Project Engineer (Water Industry - MEICA)
We are working with a leading main contracting company that have been awarded a new waste-water facility upgrade project in the West London region. Build value circa £70M, handover 2026. The build phase doesn't start until Q4 2022, so the Electrical Project Engineer will start during the pre-construction phases, working closely with the design term, and procurement team, to ensure key deliverables are on target for the construction phase.
The Electrical Project Engineer will be:
You will report directly to the Project Manager.
Review technical specification (both form internal engineering team and external Client standards) to ensure they meet the project technical and commercial requirements
Manage the supply chain through the procurement, engineering, implementation, commissioning and handover phase
Review of supplier schedules against the contract programme, advising the PM of any changes that will affect completion
Ensure production of monthly progress reports from the supply chain, if necessary, facilitating and coordinating progress meetings
Manage/oversee the production of QA documentation including but not limited to ITPs, check sheet, FAT documentation and O&M's
Administration of the contract of the supply chain, including use of NEC3 software to notify the supply chain of any potential EWN's, CE's, CI or change in scope
