Exciting Scientific C++ Developer opportunity for a company that creates market leading SaaS cloud-based tech which provides analytical and insight data to the retail market and works with the likes of Coca-Cola, Pepsi, McDonald's, and Tesco.
The role can be done largely on a remote basis if desired, so you'll only be expected to visit the office in London once every few months.
Working closely with the Data Scientist and Product teams you will be responsible for developing new algorithms and performing software design, prototyping, implementation, and testing of scientific code.
To be considered for this role you will have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering/numerate subject e.g., Engineering, Stats, Maths, Computer Science
Experience in programming languages and applying them to build science products, including a minimum of 2 years productionised C++
Experience with and a passion for developing full-stack solutions using modern technologies
An appetite for understanding and implementing science algorithms e.g., Bayesian regression / continuous and combinatorial optimisation
Be comfortable with basic data analysis and SQLIf you like attending meet-ups, reading blogs, and getting stuck into new technology then this is for you.
You will receive 26 days of leave, a great bonus scheme, and a flexible benefits package. On the last Friday of the month the whole company finish at 2pm, and 4pm on all other Fridays.
