Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Rochester
Working hours 6-6 rotating shift pattern 4 on 4 off Days AND Nights
Salary: £42,000- £45,000
PSi are currently working with one of the UK's leading food manufacturers who are looking for you to join their manufacturing site as a Maintenance Engineer.
If you are a time served Engineer with manufacturing expereince from a food background, FMCG or similar industries whilst having any electrical qualifications/ expereince we would love to hear from you!
As a Multi-skilled Engineer your day-to-day role will consist of;
* Perform PPM and Reactive maintenance on Electrical and Mechanical machinery including conveyors, sensors, check weighers, metal detectors etc.
* To diagnose all faults and carry out remedial action to required standards.
* Carry out machine malfunction corrective work and ensure plant and equipment meets operational demands, in a safe, efficient manner
* Assist in large installation and machine removals as and when required
* This role is essential to improve customer response times, reduce lead times, improve plant efficiency, keep down time to an absolute minimum and be 100% compliant with procedures
What you will bring to the role;
* 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualified
* Completed an Apprenticeship
* PLC knowledge
