This role is fixed term until mid January 2023 and requires an immediate start, however 1 months notice periods can be considered.
Purpose:
Your role is to increase brand awareness and consideration and drive customer acquisition. BTP has a compelling brand story to tell and you will lead on maximising this externally to engage and attract potential customers, attract team members and build BTP reputation within communities, the industry and beyond.
What's the Job?
Brand awareness and engagement
• Lead on our telling our brand story and activating in earned media, our social channels and website
• Lead on development and activation of brand campaigns and content
• Be the guardian of brand messaging, guidelines and tone of voice
• Jointly develop and own the annual marketing calendar in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing Manager
• Own the customer welcome journey and brand emails
Social media management
• Own the social media strategy and create and implement the plan
• Build a social media community amongst our 25 café teams - growing team capability and increasing reach and engagement across all our social channels
Drive brand consideration and conversion online
• Manage website content and conversion optimisation
• Optimise organic search
New café openings
• We plan to open 3 or 4 new cafes a year and your role is to help us launch successfully. Raising awareness, building engagement and driving footfall during the pre-launch and first 1 to 2 months post launch
Channel data, insight and analysis
• Be on top of the data, monitor performance and share reports, insight and recommendations into the business
Management of relationship with relevant external suppliers
Who's the Person?
You're a great communicator, who understands what connects with individuals, communities, the media, content creators and influencers. You connect personally with our brand and our purpose of Making Things Better and you'll be able to package that up into campaigns, content and stories.
You've got experience of managing social media channels and have your finger on the pulse of new developments and which brands are using these channels effectively.
You can build out a marketing and communications plan to deliver against brand awareness, engagement and acquisition objectives. Being clear on the role of different channels and setting clear KPIs and measurement in place.
You have managed multi-channel campaigns, ensuring everything lands on time. You bring clarity to the brief, have strong creative judgement and an eye for detail.
You're naturally curious about data and use it to unlock insight and opportunity as well as to measure performance and ROI.
Along with Brand Comms / PR / Social experience you'll ideally have managed website content and used CMS. If you also have knowledge of SEO, that's a bonus.
This role is highly collaborative - you'll work in close partnership with the wider Brand and HQ team, the Operations and Café teams and key external agencies.
You're happy to be hands-on - we're a small team.
