BioTalent are thrilled to be working with an award-winning Biotech who are looking to bring on a Senior Data Scientist to their team. They are leading the change the way we look at diseases by applying cutting-edge technology within microbiology and genomics.

Senior Data Scientist Responsibilities

• Analyse associate of large-scale biological data sets with clinical metadata
• Identify, develop and perform machine learning and statistical models to improve the informatics platform
• Deliver statistical support in study designs and analysis plans for complex data sets

Senior Data Scientist Requirements

• PhD in Statistics, Data Science or related discipline
• Knowledge of machine learning methods: clustering, feature selection, dimension reduction, tree-based models
• Programming language: Python
• Familiar working in a Linux command-line environment
• Experience with microbial genomics and metagenomics/familiar with omics data
