Legal Counsel

MERJE are partnered with a leading Financial Services' business with offices globally and a leading product range who are looking for a Legal Counsel to join their fast growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing terms and conditions in respect of FX transactions and payment services and ISDA documentation;

• Drafting and negotiating general commercial contracts

• Overseeing any company secretarial workstreams

• General assistance on Legal reporting to management

• Assisting on data protection issues including compliance with privacy laws and data security;

• Overseeing the relationship with external advisers and panel law firms

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience of working within a financial services firm and a highly commercial environment

• Good knowledge of OTC derivates and negotiating the ISDA/VM CSA and delegated reporting agreements, financial services and payment services regulation

• Competency in drafting legal documents
