The Role

The company are looking for either an experienced Senior to step into a Principal role or an existing Principal Engineer looking to for something new.

Principal Engineers at their company act as 'floating' technical entities of knowledge, offering expertise across their 10 backend software engineering teams building modern microservices across a range of products without being tied to an individual team.

It's a great chance to remain hands-on as an engineer, without having to engage with management responsibilities.
