Goodman Masson is delighted to be currently working with an mid-cap Private Equity Growth fund, leading within the UK and Northern Europe markets. They are currently looking for an outstanding Investment Associate to join their London office.
This in a unique opportunity to work with an experienced team with a broad range of backgrounds and learn directly from top management. Also, this position will provide you with unparalleled generalist and diverse deal exposure.

Candidate Responsibilities:
- Drive the execution of investments within a full 360-degree investment role
- Helping originate and portfolio manage new and existing investments across sectors and markets
- Lead execution workstreams, including financial analysis & modelling, due diligence and preparation of investment committee material
- Interact with target company management teams, investment banks, due diligence advisors, potential partners and other external counterparts
- Prepare materials to be presented to the firm's Investment Committee that summarise the key highlights, financials, risk and opportunities identified through due diligence
- Engagement in oversight of portfolio companies, including working with portfolio company management teams to drive growth and manage risks to ensure successful investment outcomes
The ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 2-4 years M&A / private equity investment experience
- Strong modelling and technical skills (DCF, LBO, etc.)
- A demonstrated ability to evaluate and execute transactions
- Excellent academic record from a leading university, ideally with a degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, maths, sciences or another quantitative field
- Intellectually curious and have good interpersonal skills
- Good at working to a high standard to deadlines
- Initiative, adaptability and leadership skills
- European language skills are highly regarded
