A major broadcaster based in London has an opportunity for a Lead Data Analyst to join their Advertising Technology team within the Product Hub who work on and power platforms used by people all over the country.
As a Data Specialist and data driving decisions across the business, this is an important role that will look to understand and drive ad optimisation and capacity planning / forecasting activities. You will also work to define technical and business requirements to develop analytics capability such as data strategy and governance, data quality and data cleansing.
In addition to your expertise in data, you will be a mentor to a team of Data Analysts and drive a "data first" mentality to ensure they are tracking the right data and interpreting it correctly.
To be successful, you will have demonstrable experience in managing complex Data Lake projects within a GCP environment, although experience with other cloud platforms will be accepted. You will show the ability to define requirements, implement governance and strategy and have worked on large corporate transformations.
In addition you will be adept in:
- Data retrieval techniques (SQL queries, working with APIs)
- Google Cloud Platforms BI Products (BigQuery, Spanner, AI Platform)
- BI Tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker etc.)
