Location - United Kingdom (Work from Office, Hybrid Model & Work from Home - Available)

Salary - up to £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (Depending on the experience)

My Role Overview - What can I expect?

  • The Data Migration Engineer is a key role within the data migration wider data services teams and is a critical interface to enable Target to achieve their growth plans within client portfolio onboarding.
  • They are responsible for data migration and data integrity throughout the project lifecycle and will oversee and continually improve the migration process for new projects.
  • This includes the extraction, transformation and loading of data from various sources into Target systems.


Qualifications/ Experience Required for the role -

  • Knowledge of the Target Product and Technical Strategies
  • Target Centrac specific product knowledge, understanding of (Iseries) database tables and use within the product.
  • Free-format RPG syntax.
  • RPG ILE coding concepts
  • I-Series knowledge/experience
  • Advanced SQL (scripting, performance indexing, data analysis)
  • SSIS (stored procedures, agent jobs)
  • SSRS
  • Powershell
  • Redgate
  • Aldon source management
  • JIRA for issues management
