We are now looking for an Agile Scrum Master/Project Manager to join our core systems digital team in Huddersfield.

The purpose of this role is to project manage core systems development, configuration and rollout projects to agreed standards and methodologies. Ensuring the projects are completed to agreed quality levels and timescales within approved budgets.



Responsibilities:

· To scope, deliver and measure key business facing projects within the frameworks of PRINCE2 and SCRUM/Agile methodologies.

· Produce and maintain detailed project plans covering full project life cycle- Initiation, design, development, build, test through to operation

· To ensure projects deliver functionality which reflects the business needs and is suitable for the intended user base

· To identify resources, costs and timescales to deliver projects in line with the agreed scope and plans for projects assigned

· Assess and mitigate risks and react accordingly to ensure projects meet their objectives

· Build and maintain strong relationships with business contacts, product owners, senior management and core system software providers to enable successful delivery

· To matrix manage suitable resources to deliver business projects across the company brands

· To manage external resource / partners to ensure delivery against defined objectives, project costs and timelines

· To manage the support handover function

· Ensure application and systems knowledge is gained and maintained through internal awareness sessions, communication with key suppliers, product overview sessions, user days, application development and release cycles (as required

Useful background or experience in

· Comprehensive experience managing core system or digital projects within a corporate IT team

· Experience of iterative/agile project methodologies preferred

· Ability to manage multiple projects with moving dependencies and handle pressurised situations in a calm and proficient manner

· Experience in managing the lifecycle of system developments/implementation and integration projects from inception, definition of business / functional requirements through to delivery to a large user base

· The ability to analyse and interpret business requirements fully, to ensure delivery of technical / functional solutions via internal teams or external vendors which reflect requirements accurately

· Ability to prepare appropriate project plans for all project delivery

· Sound understanding of general IT services and solutions and the ability to understand in-depth how large software applications function

· Experience of team & matrix management

· Experience dealing with third party software development, test and maintenance suppliers

· Strong stakeholder management, leadership & motivation skills
