A chance to join a dynamic business as a purchase ledger clerk. The business offer an excellent working environment and a well-established team and are in term looking for a purchase ledger clerk that is looking for a fresh challenge. The company have about 100 invoices on a daily basis that need processing manually and will offer the new individual the chance to learn about duties across the team so that there is adequate cover across the team when people are on leave.

The company offer parking and onsite facilities such as restaurant and parking and a fun feeling to the way people approach work and each other.

Duties:
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Chasing up credit notes & outstanding returns
  • Filing of invoices
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Reviewing systems and processes to make improvements where necessary
  • Making payments to suppliers
  • Providing holiday cover for weekly supplier's payment run

Person spec:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills (ideally Sage 200)
  • Must be able to work as part of a team
