This role is proof of their growing structure and also the emphasis they are putting into their digital marketing strategy and delivery. Role: This role is crucial and will see you support the Head of Digital in developing and implementing strategic and effective firmwide digital activity/initiatives designed to support profitable revenue growth and new client acquisition. You will be a focal point for the the marketing function and will see you quickly develop into a management role. Strategy:* Assisting in the formulation and execution of the firm's digital strategy. Having responsibility for the effective communication of that strategy to the wider firm* Take an active role in the generation, development and implementation of new ideas, systems or procedures which will improve the firm's approach to and delivery of digital activity* Analyse the performance of competitors and best practice from other industries and make recommendations to improve our strategy and campaigns* Manage and maintain relationships with external agencies to execute the digital strategy and to assist in the generation of new ideasTargeting/reporting:* Lead on the measurement of the performance of digital marketing activity and provide timely and accurate reports, e.g. through use of website analytics; through use of email marketing data; through use of data gathered by social media analytics tools* Use data to analyse the effectiveness of digital activity, ROI delivered and make recommendations to improve future efficacy.Website:* Act as a champion for the firm's website and make regular updates to the site to support the firm's digital strategy* Train users of the website content management system on its effective use as well as advising on technical best practices for content* Help to ensure that content added to the firm's website (and any associated websites) complies with accessibility requirements and, in appropriate areas, maximises lead generation. Provide training to the Campaigns team on best practices* Take an active role in the execution of the firm's SEO strategy e.g. keyword research, optimising internal linking, technical optimisation* Take an active role in the execution and development of the website content strategy* Lead on the development of key areas of the website to increase search traffic and improve conversion.Social Media* Work closely with the Campaigns team and PR team on content to be published to the firm's social media platforms* Provide training to lawyers and members of the wider marketing team on the effective use of social media* Take ownership of online advertising, using platforms such as Google Ads and LinkedIn to increase brand awareness and generate leads* Monitor and respond to online reviews, liaising with compliance team and client partners where appropriate.Email marketing:* Plan and prepare marketing emails and their delivery through the firm's email marketing system* Provide training to the Campaigns and Internal Communications teams to ensure they have the skills to use our email marketing system to best effect and to maximise deliverability and open rates.The ideal candidate: * 2-4 years experience with a strong digital marketing focus* Proven experience as a Digital Executive or in a similar role* Specialist knowledge of at least one field of digital marketing* Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices* Strong analytical skills* A track record of delivering web, SEO, email and social media projects* In-depth knowledge of content management systems and website analytics tools* In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and analytics tools* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)* Knowledge of HTML and other front end programming languages would be an advantagePlease note: The preferred location for this role is Liverpool but we would be open to other locations - however, the successful candidate will need to spend time in the Liverpool officeBenefits: * 28 days' annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part time)* Agile / working from home including provision of home office equipment** Discounted gym membership* Discounted dental scheme* Cycle to work scheme* Interest free travel loan scheme* Healthcare cover/ Medicash* Pension plan* Life Insurance 4 x salary* Offers & discounts* Great reward and recognition schemeIf you would like to learn more please contact TJ McCaw on /
