Teaching Personnel are looking for a Year 3 teacher to join a "Good" two-form entry Catholic primary school in Oldham (OL8) starting 5th September 2022

Working with the linked Year 3 Teacher and support staff in class, you will be expected to plan, prepare, and assess the learning of the pupils against the lower Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will have high expectations and be committed to accelerating progress of the cohort, inspiring a love of learning within the Year 3 class. You will be expected to meet the needs of all the abilities within the class by differentiating appropriately to both scaffold for lower achieving pupils but equally importantly, to stretch and challenge the most able students.

Ideally, the candidate will have experience teaching in Year 3 with knowledge of the lower KS2 curriculum however, experience in KS1 especially Year 2 would also be beneficial and similarly experience of teaching higher up in KS2 in Years 4, 5 or 6. They are looking for teachers who are confident in providing a broad and balanced curriculum offering the children the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and cultural capital they need to succeed in life. The school welcomes applications from both Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers as they offer comprehensive training to ensure the candidate succeeds within this role.
