The Prince of Wales Hospice are looking for an Enthusiastic, highly motivated Marketing and Communications Officer
join their friendly team based in Pontefract.
£22,600 - £24,800 per annum
37.5 hours a week
This role will be responsible for developing communications internally and externally, working across multiple communication channels. You will manage our social media channels, support other teams with marketing materials such as graphics and publications, write press releases and news stories for the website, and create staff newsletter and other internal communications content.You will be proactive and tenacious - able to spot a good story and influence others to tell theirs and take part in marketing activities. You will be able to write and edit marketing materials and deliver high quality artwork through working with agencies and hands-on use of desktop design packages.If you would like to progress your carrier with a variable, exciting role and want to make a difference to support local patients and their families, we would love to hear from you.In return we offer a flexible and supportive working environment within a friendly team. Essential RequirementsMinimum of 2 years' experience working in PR, communications or marketing. Excellent writing and communication skills. Competency in MS Office applications and graphic design packages. Knowledge of Social Media platforms is a must.
