An extremely successful business based in the Salford area are looking to recruit a diligent Accounts Payable Clerk to their dynamic Finance function. This is a permanent vacancy that would suit a candidate with strong AP knowledge looking to work within an energetic and modern organisation

As the Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the full end to end of the Accounts Payable process including invoice processing and payment runs

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Processing a high volume of invoices
  • Ensure invoices are coded correctly
  • Allocating payments to invoices
  • Matching supplier statements
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Reconciliations
  • Query resolution and escalations
  • Other ad-hoc financial duties

Key Skills/Experience Required:
  • Minimum 6 months experience within an AP function essential
  • Experience with oracle is advantageous
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent work ethic and able to work well within a team
  • Able to work well under pressure
