Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing are supporting a global leader developing advanced technology and solutions to a range of technical markets in their search for a Tooling/Design engineer working hand in hand with the Production Engineering team. Primarily focusing on the design, development and implementation of bespoke tooling, modifications and improvements to meet the needs of manufacturing, you will utilise a wide background in process engineering, Tool Making/Design to offer technical expertise to the wider team.The Process /Tooling & Design Engineers duties and responsibilities will include:- Driving optimisation, timings, bottleneck studies, and the maintenance/improvement of drawings specifications and procedures- Managing projects to achieve the delivery of die designs and resolving and key issues- Innovative and proactive approach to the generation of solutions for new designs- Communicating with internal customers to provide updates- Process, review and expedite work orders, modifications, schematics and calibrate recordsWe are very keen to speak to you if you have the following skills and experience:- Proven experience in process engineering/tooling or tool making and/or Design- 2 + years 2dCAD (autoCAD) experience with 3D modelling being an advantage- Mechanical design, mechanism and machine design- A pro active approach with strong communication skills cross functionally across the business- EDM / CNC machine knowledge would also be a benefitElevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist recruitment consultancy dealing with engineering, technical and operational positions in Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.
