This will initially be a twelve month maternity cover with this leading global insurer and re-insurer. The company are very open to hybrid working or a condensed working week. They are very open to considering a candidate from either underwriting or broking.
Previous energy exposure would be useful but an experienced underwriting technician or underwriting assistant who is available to consider a contract would be very welcome.
Carry out aggregation data energy onto the in-house system in conjunction with the underwriting team in accordance with the Syndicate aggregation requirements;
Complete monthly Lloyd's returns for business;
Complete weekly aggregation reports for catastrophe and single risk exposures;
Work in conjunction with the Energy Pricing Technician to provide a link between pricing models and exposure information;
Provide account analysis and ad-hoc reporting as required;
Provide back up for the data entry technicians and other administrative functions as required;
Keep appropriate records of all conversations with customers and/or insurers, or other relevant business contacts, in accordance with the firm's procedures manual;
Ensure that company procedures and systems are followed and maintained, as per procedures and compliance manuals;
Any other task as may be required by the company from time to time.
