Here at Teaching Personnel, we are recruiting for a learning support assistant (LSA) to work closely with a child. The role is based in the Canvey Island area and you will be required to work with a child with additional needs. As a LSA you will need to continuously help towards the development of a child, through interventions and working closely with the classroom teacher. You will continuously inspire and motivate young minds, to ultimately enhance their education.

The right individual will have a SEN background and will pose a background in the care setting, social services or education. You will be required to have a DBS and for it to be on the update service. Classroom experience is desired, but not essential.

Successful individuals will:

- Live local to Canvey Island or happy to travel to this area

- Have experience with SEN children

- Be happy to work on a 1:1 basis

- Happy to work both KS1 + KS2

- Be available to start ASAP

- Happy to help assist the classroom teacher

- Passionate about making a difference and child development

- Must have UK residency

- Must have DBS and it to be on the update service
