Finance Business Partner

LHH are currently supporting a leading insurance organisation with the recruitment of a qualified Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. This award winning organisation are happy for the role to be fully remote or on a hybrid basis with occasional travel to their office in Sussex.

This highly commercial finance business partnering role focuses more on financial modelling and increasing revenue as opposed to cost saving / expense management.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Act as a Business Partner and trusted advisor to Executive members and their Leadership teams, ensuring Finance engagement and oversight of key Commercial decision-making

• Collaborate with the business on creation of business cases and associated financial models.
• Leading on budgeting and forecasting process. Managing stakeholders to deliver outputs to Finance and overseeing financial modelling
• Line management of a team of 2
• Challenge assumptions of proposals put forward by the business to strive for maximum value and impact from delivery teams

Key skills / experience:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Excellent financial modelling skills

• Ability to articulate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders

• Excellent communication skills with proven experience of building relationships with the Senior Leadership Team
• Experience of managing a small team would be useful
• Experience of working within financial services is advantageous but not essential

The company offer an excellent benefits package and the salary is between £50-70k depending on experience and industry knowledge.
