I am working with a global geoscience technology leading company, based in the south of England, which currently have a team of around 3,700 people worldwide. The company provides a range of data, products, services and solutions to support their clients to solve complex natural resources. Environmental and infrastructure changes. They are a global leader and make sub-surface mapping tools, and monitor seismic data and exploration products for the oil and gas, mining, and renewables industries. They are currently looking for all Levels Junior-Senior level developers. You will be joining a small team of 4 developers, however, they are looking to double that in the coming weeks. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the business by creating clean and efficient code.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the development of new software tools, and using modern technologies for both long-term projects as well as infrastructure improvements. You will be creating and managing CI/CD pipelines to build/test and deploy services and apps. You will also be transforming software services to be cloud-ready using containerizations.Essential experience:- 2:1 or above in STEM subject- Strong coding ability in Java or Go- Knowledge of best practices and the SDLC- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsDesirable:- Strong experience with development / debugging / optimizing micro services- Containerization experience- Experience with design and implementing algorithm and data structures- Understanding of client architecture such as RPC- CI/CD experience- NoSQL

Salary is negotiable depending on experience with a range from £30,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Remote working.
