Job description:

The PMO Senior Analyst is a key role in the Exertis Business Transformation team.

Key Accountabilities
  • Supporting the Business Transformation team and other business areas in the overall collective management of projects across Exertis
  • Maintaining the Exertis project management library - standard templates, governance approach, communication approach, workflows
  • Consolidation of project statis and issue of the Project Board pack for use in the regular leadership review
  • Helping to drive consistency and common standards of documentation, project plans, reporting across all projects and workstreams
  • Attending individual project meetings to ensure disciplines are upheld, including Management of Risk, Assumption, Issues and Decision logs (RAID)
  • Running lessons learned feedback sessions at the close of each project and proposing/making changes to future projects as appropriate
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative assistance to the Project Managers / Workstream leads
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to all Exertis policies and procedures including our Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct.

Person Specification
  • Projects by their nature bring unexpected challenges, therefore, this role requires a dynamic and flexible individual who is not fazed when working under pressure and/or under their own initiative
  • Experience of working in a Project / Programme Management function, leading or supporting projects
  • Preferably holding a project management qualification e.g. Prince 2
  • Highly organised - task-based / checklist based / logical process-based approach to work
  • Highly PC literate - particularly in Excel, Powerpoint and project management software
  • High attention to detail and will self-check prior to distribution
  • Good presentation skills - ability to present complex data "cleanly" and "simply" both visually and verbally
  • Organised self-starter with ability to plan & prioritise one's own workload
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communicator, someone who is keen to engage and learn across all business areas
  • High motivation to learn and develop skills & knowledge, and to understand more about Exertis through project engagement across many functions
  • Highly motivated & enthusiastic with a "can do" mentality
  • Disciplined and able to work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines
