We are working with a membership organisation whose mission is to save, protect and rebuild lives through effective humanitarian response to recruit for a Direct Marketing and Supporter Services Officer.Reporting to Direct marketing manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of supporter care services and community fundraising within the organisation.This is a permanent, full-time role based in London and offers flexibility with working hours with salary of £32,000 per annum. As the Direct Marketing and Supporter Services Officer, you will be responsible for the monitoring and internal control procedures within the context of supporter care. You will assist with the organisation's ongoing compliance with statutory regulations, GDPR, the Data Protection Act, the Fundraising Code of Practice and Gift Aid regulationsYou will manage and develop necessary temporary staff, volunteers, and/or supplier staff to ensure that the Supporter Services team is capable of fully achieving its agreed targets. You will manage and improve the organisations approach to community fundraising, particularly in relation to the care and stewardship of community fundraisers once they have decided to support an appeal.You may on occasions be required to work additional hours in response to the business appeal, events held outside office hours or to extra workload.
