Financial Accountant

A leading sports business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA qualified candidate to join its finance function.

Main duties include:

• Identify, implement & maintain procedures to improve the control environment across the Group, driving the implementation of recommendations from Internal and External Auditors
• Review and update finance policies as appropriate, ensuring that they reflect the latest accounting and regulatory requirements
• Preparation of group consolidation and subsidiary financial statements
• Main point of contact for External Auditors and responsible for coordinating the year-end audit
• Provide direct assistance to the FC on all accounting, tax and financial control matters
• Ensure compliance with regulations
• Ad-hoc finance projects as agreed with FC

You will be ACA/ACCA qualified either in a similar role or looking for your first move from practice. You will gain good exposure across the business
