Financial Controller role based in Essex with hybrid working

Your new role
An opportunity has arisen within for a Qualified Accountant to manage the finance team in Essex (10+).
You will manage and be accountable for the team in delivering an exceptional financial reporting service for the UK business. Reporting to the UK Finance Director, you will have strong technical accounting skills, a good understanding of IFRS and the Statutory reporting cycle along with experience of managing the audit and tax cycles and all related stakeholders.
You should have experience of running a team with broad management and financial accounting experience. Group experience will be an advantage. The right experience and attitude are crucial to help build and maintain high standards within these teams.
What you'll need to succeed
Be a Qualified Accountant with broad financial experience and staff management experience.
It is essential for this role that you have a strong technical skill set and have managed Audits previously.
This client will welcome applications from those looking to make their first commercial move from Practice at Manager or Senior Manager level.
What you'll get in return
£80-90,000 (Depending on current level of experience) + Car Allowance + Bonus + Hybrid working
